Travis is 2!!

We had a "cook-in" at my parents house on Friday with hot dogs and burgers and lots of dinosaur themed decor and the cupcakes from Costco were great! Travis even blew out his own candle!!! Then on Saturday we spent a disappointing $45 and an hour at Imagine It, the childrens museum in Atlanta. The best part of that trip was running thru the torrential downpour back to the aquarium parking deck. The museum was not well kept and none of the staff was interacting with the kiddos; needless to say, we will NEVER be going back again. We saved the birthday though by making a trip to Jimmy Johns for lunch and Home Depot for supplies for our screen porch. Travis loved every minute of demolition and construction and if he could have asked for a way to spend his birthday, if he actually knew what that meant, I'm quite sure he would have said he wanted to help Daddy do home improvement stuff. Chris and I bought Travis a play sink and a sit and spin for his birthday and they served as a nice distraction while we closed in the bottom of the screen porch with ballisters. Now Travis has free run out there, baby cage anyone? ;)
