we had a great Christmas. It was lots of fun and we got to spend time with our families. Of course keeping with my new trend, I was forgetful/busy/slightly overwhelmed and didn't bring a camera except for when we went to visit my grandfather, but luckily our parents were resourceful enough to always have a camera in their back pocket so I do have a few pictures of Chase's first Christmas.
Today was a very good and busy day. Since we are still without Chris' car this week, my mom came over to take us to the mall and to the grocery store. We both had some returns to make and she was so sweet and bought the boys winter coats! Travis' coat is a nice dark green and black fleece lined ripstop type of deal that is thin enough that he will actually wear it and Chase was lucky enough to get a brown bear suit complete with adorable ears :) He also got the cutest hat ever. It's dark brown and cream and red plaid with faux sheepskin or something. So cute! The good part about living in GA is that we can wait until January to buy winter coats and then everything is on super sale because the stores are all stocking up for spring (ridiculous!) Along with being great company, my mom brought over a few of my old play food items to stock the new play fridge so I'll post about that tomorrow with pictures :)
